The Hennessey Venom F5 is a bespoke mid-engine hypercar engineered to exceed 300 mph while delivering unparalleled performance and the world’s most exhilarating driving experience.

Assembled in the USA, the Venom F5 utilizes a carbon fiber monocoque passenger tub with aluminum alloy subframes covered in a carbon fiber skin. Credit the painstaking attention to detail for lowering mass – the two-passenger coupe has a dry weight of just 2,998 lbs.

The Venom F5 boasts a custom 6.6-litre, twin- turbocharged, V8 engine dubbed “Fury.” Under full boost, the engine develops a phenomenal 1,817 horsepower and 1,192 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed, single-clutch, automated gearbox. Acceleration is astonishing and relentless – Hennessey targets an independently validated top speed of more than 500 km/h (311 mph).

Power and top speed dominated the design parameters, but the crucial engineering goal was to deliver a peerless performance envelope, methodically honed dynamics, and a truly visceral experience behind the wheel. The Venom F5 project is overseen by the company Founder and CEO John Hennessey, who has spent the past 30 years making fast cars faster.

Only 24 ultra-exclusive Venom F5 Coupes will be produced, with each example specially commissioned to its owner.


Hennessey has been obsessed with speed for more than 30 years, so it is a natural progression – based on scientific discovery – that the company advances to embrace the mechanical measurement of time.

To celebrate the unique relationship between speed and time, Hennessey has introduced a timepiece without peers. A striking chronograph crafted from the world’s finest materials that mirrors the meticulousness put into engineering the Venom F5 hypercar.


Horologists have traditionally crafted fine timepieces from alloys of brass, silver, and gold. Each of these metals hide the mechanical intricacies of the watch movement while the Venom F5 Concept boasts a full sapphire crystal case – a journey into the heart of the timepiece – itself a masterpiece in engineering.

The sapphire case begins as aluminum oxide, which is heated until molten (over 1700°C) and then carefully cooled into a crystalline block. After it is inspected and deemed flawless, it is mounted on a five-axis lathe and machined in an operation that lasts 24 hours a day, for over 30 days. The resulting piece, which has excellent optical properties and a Mohs hardness of 9, is then carefully inspected and polished.

Harmonizing materials with the Venom F5 hypercar, the Venom F5 Concept is fitted with a precision carbon-fiber bezel. The beautifully patterned carbon black material – five times stronger than steel, yet only one-fifth its weight – is molded from crystalline carbon filaments roughly 100 times smaller than a human hair. It is finished with white lettering to ensure high-contrast visibility.


As unrivaled as the Hennessey Venom F5 hypercar, the Venom F5 Concept vaunts a Rolex 4130 caliber movement from the Rolex Daytona. This self-winding in-house chronograph movement is certified by the Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres (COSC) – the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute.

The Venom F5 Concept features 44 jewels, a frequency of 4Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour), and a power reserve of 72 hours. Twin O-ring seals, in transparent nitrile, ensure water resistance to 100 meters.

The chronograph’s features are activated by precision screw down pushers that have been engineered to deliver a crisp tactile ‘click’ upon engagement, to confirm the action to the wearer.

Meticulous engineering is only part of the story, as the Venom F5 Concept is the ultimate chronograph for Venom F5 drivers. The central sweep seconds hand allows accurate readings as incremental as 1/8 second, while two small counters on the dial display the elapsed time in hours and minutes. A bezel molded with a tachymetric scale encircles the perimeter, allowing the wearer to measure average speeds of up to 400 km/h.
