Hennessey® completes first round of Venom F5® aerodynamic testing & development on 11,000 ft. of runway at a former U.S. Air Force base in Arkansas. Despite the engine’s power being restricted to just 900 hp – a mere 50% of the final 1,817 hp output – the aerodynamic testing, driven by John “Heinrocket” Heinricy, the F5 saw 200+ mph as part of its mid-speed refinement and aero / drag coast-down testing program.
